The move to dump registration requirements would be a good thing.

History proves time and time again, that the only real reason for registration is for confinscation...of course the politicians will never tell you that. They'll tell you that it for the greater good and all of the other BS that tyrants have been using to confinscate weapons since the beggining of time.

The articles isnt clear though. Whats on the table right now would only remove registration for a class named "non-restricted" meaning mostly shotguns and long guns. We still have ridiculous paper work for all handguns.

We see it as a baby step in the right direction. But theres still many years of Anti's work to undo.

    That’s for sure!

    For some workable firsts:

    All rimfires declared “non-restricted”

“Rural carry” for Restricted handguns, basically a authorization to carry openly outside a municipality.

Get rid of “special authorization permits” for prohibited firearms and use the existing Authorizations to Transport to allow their use at a range.

The above would all be doable using “orders in council” (changing a regulation is considered administrative) and not having to reopen debate on the Firearms Act and a vote in Parliament.

    Congrats guys,

Sounds like the wheels of change will start to roll in your direction.

If they pick up enough speed, maybe even take out a few anti's along the way.

    Keep us posted.
