SB1201 got sent to Governor Brewer today. It's not everything we wanted (they exempted sporting events) but it is a step in the right direction!
They also sent her the Campus Carry bill. Again, it's not perfect (they can still post all their buildings) but it's a step in the right direction.
Brewer will certainly sign both.
In my view, I believe my wonderful home state is the best in the nation at 2A rights.

Why doesn't current preemption already cover this?The Arizona Legislature has given its final approval to a measure that will require state and local governments to either allow guns in public facilities or secure those buildings with metal detectors and armed guards.
