If they are becoming that bad of a problem, you have to do something, it will only get worse if nothing is done.

I would think maybe they may want to leave a lot of them around, then no one will want to build any mosques there.

heck yeah, sign me up!!!! I'd love to try that with the AR
they have been a huge problem all over the state for YEARS, we've shot them everytime we see them in the field
they trample fences, destroy farmers crops, destroy equipment/vegetation on hunting leases all causing millions, if not billions, of dollars in damage each year

If loose gun laws are good for criminals why do criminals support gun control?

IDK why but when I heard helicopter hunts I thought of this scene:

I am overall against it. But Yes, its a problem. When I can walk out of back door where there is a small green belt, and see hogs that are a few hundred pounds rooting around... Thats an issue. Have you seen what they can do to a human leg? Google it, if you dare.
I find it kind of amusing. Last week KHOU had a piece about the damage some wild pigs were doing in a neighborhood less than a mile from me. But this is one of the problems I don't have in my neighborhood. While the combination wall and fence around my neighborhood may not stop the hordes of rage virus zombies that may some day descend on me, it definitely keeps the wild pigs out.

After a trip to Texas a few months ago, I just keep hearing more reasons to move there after undergrad and pick up an AR on the way.
I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't let the carcasses just rot, there are plenty of families that would take some pork if it was available

we've done this exact thing when we've shot several hogs, one for us to slow cook the next day, the rest are given to local organizations that utilize the meat
I'm gonna have to look up a company that does this, I got a bug biting me to try it
found this site....I especially like the pics of the guy hanging off the side of the chopper with the AR....sign me up
expensive, but you gotta live a little, I bet it would be worth the experience

i hunt wild hogs every week in OK and northern TX around the Red River. All of our hogs are given away to folks who will eat them; so far this year i've killed and given away over 150 wild hogs. Helicopters will make little difference in the hog population.
TX and OK have the same kind of hog problem: The farmers and ranchers who whine the loudest about wild hogs charge money to hunt them.
It costs $500 per hour to rent a helo for one shooter. Want to take your buds along: A Bell Jet Ranger rents for $1,250 to $1,500 per hour.
