CA: The Senate is better than you...

Washington Times: One law for us, another for you

The California state Senate voted 28-8 Wednesday to exempt itself from the pointless gun-control laws that apply to the rest of the populace. Legislators apparently think they alone are worthy to pack heat on the streets for personal protection, and the masses ought to wait until the police arrive.
Just more proof that they think themselves above all others.

Yet they keep getting elected and re-elected. I'd say the people are getting exactly what they asked for.

This is news? The only hope for that state is for 51% of the populace to pull their heads out of their nether-regions.

I would love to see what they would say if they then lose the next election and have to disarm like everyone else, they would probably try the old I'm more of a target than them because I held pubic office and somebody may want to harm me for not voting the way they would have liked,I need a gun for protection

Why would this surprise you? Of all the things that these legislators do, this is some of the SMALL stuff!

Aren't they the ones always saying that people aren't competant enough to own guns. This confirms my suspicion's, they're not people.
