Washington Times: One law for us, another for you
The California state Senate voted 28-8 Wednesday to exempt itself from the pointless gun-control laws that apply to the rest of the populace. Legislators apparently think they alone are worthy to pack heat on the streets for personal protection, and the masses ought to wait until the police arrive.
Just more proof that they think themselves above all others.

I would love to see what they would say if they then lose the next election and have to disarm like everyone else,they would probably try the old I'm more of a target than them because I held pubic office and somebody may want to harm me for not voting the way they would have liked,I need a gun for protection
