When friends and family say that the criminal "was just about to turn things around" I think about how other people said their serial killer neighbors were "so nice and quiet"...

People like to think the best of others and not always face up to reality.

Conclusion: The U.S. should pull out of Washington D.C.

OD, that is rather too easy to be the correct answer

"These poor under privileged individuals" probably live a bit better than I do; half of them don't work, get their cars, meals, and other wonderful things for free. I work a 40hr/wk part time job in the heat/humidity of SC that pays less than $7/hr, and never get weekends off to see my fiancee. And, they have more rights than I do when they break the law.
Personally, I think I did him and all the rest of us a favor by 'turning his life around' permanently while he was in my home uninvited and stealing the few luxuries I worked so hard to have for myself. Not to mention the threat he posed to myself and everyone else in my home.
"Gun control should mean hitting your target every time."

Please try to remember- I have a very dry sense of humor. It usually sounds mean, but isn't meant to be.
