ATF knows exactly what it's doing, screwing over firearms manufacturers. ATF would probably shut them all down if it could.

Just more proof that it 's the bureaucracies and their little tin gods that run the show, and keep themselves in jobs at our expense, no matter who we elect... These guys stay from admin to admin. semi political rant off.

The laws that BATFE has purview over are so vague that it is no wonder that contradictory rulings come out of the shop...

If we could just eliminate their portion of the 27 feet of shelf space (that all the laws and regs in this country take up) I'm sure the remaining footage would fall to the ground for lack of balance.

What a shocker, governmental regulators making it impossible for business owners to know how to comply with regulations. Confusion is a job requirement for these people...

If the ATF was in charge of regulating toilets, and the proper procedure needed to follow to use the toilet, and any violation of the Toilet use laws would be met with serious fines and or jail terms,we would all be walking around in "depends" underwear just to make sure we didn't break any laws

The ATF, along with the NFA it enforces, needs to go away. There should be absolutely no federal gun control whatsoever.

Not really trying to make it "impossible"...just difficult.

Remember, there is money to be made in confusion and the more confusion they create, the more job security they have.

    I'm with Peckman.

    Why even have an ATF?
Their sole pupose is to kill free marketing practices and to know who has what so that they can tax them into oblivion.

That's why either create more oversight for the ATF or ban the ATF altogether. There is no law enforcement organization I despise more than the ATF, which is out of control.

Not even EPA? I believe they have their own SWAT teams to nab you for paperwork violations.

Yeah, but the ATF has a history of harrassing/intimidating gun owners and gun dealers as well as creating false gun test results shown to the media.

The government has too many bureaus and depts. that were started by some bureaucrat with an agenda. They never actually accomplish anything meaningful or fulfill their purpose. What they do is employ hundreds of other bureaucrats and cost taxpayers billions of dollars for basically telling citizens they are not smart enough to do anything for themselves.
