Just to clarify...they will donate 5% of the proceeds if you go to Amazon from the link on Brady's website. Not good, but from your post, it sounded like Amazon donated 5% of all sales to Brady.

It's an Amazon Partners thing - the 5% is ONLY for shopping done by following that link.

It's not 5% of all sales.

Anyone with a website can join Amazon's associates program and earn referral fees. The NRA is also an associate. See this link:

So this is purely a business ploy on the side of Amazon?

Yes, it is a business ploy by Amazon. Anyone can sign up as a partner and receive the 5%.

My local gun club has an Amazon link as well and we certainly like getting the quarterly checks.

Scott, Thank You for the information. I will talk to my gun club officers ans see if they care to take part in the benifits.

Clarification noted. I apparently mis-read my source. Purely unintentional.

That's good. I guess I can take Amazon off my enemies list.

It's a shame in a way that they give money. If not, and if they provided a listing of what was purchased, it might be fun to go through the Brady site and by a whole bunch of PRO gun books and material!

(Sorry, just like screwing with them!)

That whole Brady website is absolutly DISCUSTING!

That website just sent shivers up and down my spine, and to top all matters off with, it is a republican that is leading it!! Guess that is what I get for being a republican........

so let me get this straight..so someone gets shot, survives and automaticly thinks WOW we got to stop guns period, so they join the brady bunch?

I think someone forgot to tell them that there are more deaths by automobile than guns, perhaps we should outlaw cars!!!

This just makes me sick....very sick
