Another good Virginia bill passed this week...
which I've been watching to see what the press would pick up on. So far I have seen nothing from the anties. :danceban:
There are a number of technical changes to the law in this bill.
However, IMHO, the most important are 1) that you can submit your application (resident) by mail and 2) that "No information or documentation other than that which is allowed on the application in accordance with this subsection may be requested or required by the clerk or the court." That's not a problem in the county where I live. However, in NOVA, Tidewater, and the Richmond area both issues have been a hassle in some jurisdictions.
Now the wait to see is the Governor walks the talk. If so, come July 1 things will get easier for some of the folk who live here in Virginia.
