I was trolling through some on my political links and dug up some info from www.citizen.org/.They apparently view the Limitation on Civil Liability of Firearms Industry as a bad thing. They say "The bill, which was strongly pushed by the National Rifle Association, would protect gun dealers from liability for death or physical injury even when they knew a customer was going to use the firearm for criminal purposes."
Ok what law protects from a deliberate misuse of an item instead of a defective or malfunctioning one? They are way off base on this one even though I agree with some of their other views. If they are a consumer advocacy group then why the political slant? Should we then have liability for people that buy cars and drive drunk? Sure we will just sue ford (sarcasm).
