    Bad News for Ohio: Beatty Loses Appeal

    Toledo has a park rule against guns in city parks which contravenes Ohio's CCW law. Activist Bruce Beatty challeged the law and was convicted in Toledo Municipal Court. He then appealed his conviction and today lost his appeal.

    NOTE: Today's decision is so recent I cannot yet find a news story to point to.

    Next step is for Bruce to appeal to the Ohio Supreme Court.

    Unbelievable! The state law clearly was meant to override all of the silly local laws and make the CCW uniform. Talk about legislating from the bench. Ohio is truly back wards when it comes to gun rights.
