Any thoughts on where this idea came from?
I was talking with a guy at work today about buying ammo, and he made some comment about how you can only buy so much before the feds will come knocking and asking questions. I probed further into what he was saying, thinking he was just pretending to wear a fin-foil hat, but then he made it clear he was serious. He believes there is a max limit to how much ammo you can have on hand.
I told him it says nothing about that in the RCW(WA laws) section about firearms, and I was unaware of any federal restrictions either. Anyone here know of what he is refering to, or what might have made him believe there is an ammo limit? I'm pretty sure there is no basis to his belief, but it got me to wondering, so I figured I would ask those with more experience and knowledge than myself.
