Thank God i live in a free state where Liberty is respected and rights are upheld. I posted this mainly for those in free states in order that folks can remain vigilant in safeguarding our Constitutional rights. States like NY NJ Illinois California, maybe this will wake you up as to the kind of society you really want. Today turning in folks for defending themselves, tomorrow turning in your neighbor because they said something "wrong".

So if someone is picked up that is legal, do they get the $1000?

He did say illegal guns, he's not talking law abiding citizens.

They should offer a $1000 to find a law-abiding citizen in Detroit.

How does the 'good citizen informant" know if the gun is illegal? So now if someone sees you transport your firearm to the range they call the police and you are stuck with proving your innocence on the side of the road? Or is there no such thing as legal gun ownership in the places that have been named?

I understand (and agree) with the intent. But I think his methodology is seriously flawed. If he wants to reduce the violence, then he should be promoting birth control and responsible parenting.

How would the neighbors know? Sounds like a stunt to find out who has firearms, legal or not.

Absolutely! Couldn't have said it better tangle! My brother in law lives there in absecon. From what I understand, its impossible to get a permit there without being someone high up or ex police or something. Don't know how true this is but he loves guns and can't carry one so.......
