Mayor Rahm Emanuel on hot seat over city
My favorite parts:
(Stated by the contributor)
"Frankly, while closing down nuisance liquor stores is always a good idea, 7-year-old Heaven Sutton didn’t get killed standing in front of a liquor store. She was standing in front of a candy stand set up in front of her house."
(Stated by Rahm Emanuel himself)
"“You have to be very aggressive in making sure the gang-bangers know that the police force and the community run the streets, they don’t,” the mayor said during the interview."
And just how does the community take over running their neighborhoods when Rahm Emanuel won't allow them to defend themselves?

Deadfish Emanuel has some GREAT ideas...
"Just tell gang-bangers to stay in the alleys and away from kids..."
Yeah, that's the ticket, that'll work...

Hey, I know, ban guns in Chicago, that way the bangers won't carry them! Police and community? The community is disarmed and the police won't even go into some neighborhoods, so "minutes away when very second counts" doesn't apply.
