The House is voting tomorrow on the repeal of ObamaCare.
Apparently, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has the authority, with the insurance purchase mandate, to populate a federal medical database with all Americans' medical records.
Then, bureaucrats can filter the database for key medical diagnoses such as PTSD and strip guns from patients "with the push of a keystroke". Improper abuse of power is a disincentive to seek treatment by those who need it and is the trampling of 2A rights. The provider managing care - not bureaucrats - is best to determine risk of gun ownership.
GOA says more than 150,000 vets, with conditions like PTSD, are already victims of this abuse of power.
I asked my dem rep to please vote for H.R. 6079 -- the ObamaCare repeal bill.
Now, its passage in the House may be merely a poll on the matter since the Senate won't pass it, and Obama has an override-proof veto. But the pendulum swings. Let your rep know where you stand.

Let's just let this post stand as it is, that is, closed, but feel free to call, write or otherwise harass your Congress-Critters as you see fit.
"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."
