    Points duly taken. My post wasn't just about gun rights though more about our Representative Democracy as whole. What's the time tested saying?... Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
    It's gonna be a lot of slow singing and flower bringing if my burglar alarm starts ringing.

    All in good sport.

    The early leaders were concerned about angry mobs. There were consequences to an upset populace. Tar and feathers were one of those consequences of stupidity and trampling rights. One wonders if that practice should be restored for the good of the republic?
