State of NH Dept. of Safety
They are great. Sent in what they requested for my Non-Resident License last week. They received it on the 21st did everything they needed to do including background check. Mailed my license Monday and I received this afternoon. 6 days people. And another thing, the license is plastic like a credit card, not paper like my home state heh.

True, my NH (both 1st issue and renewal) were quick and painless. I just got my PA so I don't know yet how the renewal is going to be.
And I'm glad NH went to the plastic, my first issue was paper that I had to lamanate. I wished PA went toward that instead of that big sheet of paper they give lol.

+1 on PA fast turnaround. I mailed my nonresident application to Centre County Sherriffs on monday and i received it the next wednseday....so that's pretty respectable.
my WV resident took 3 days though!!
really don't like their 5x7 pieces of paper though...they know you have to carry it....make the extra effort and do it right!

NH doesn't do any bg checks on NR CCW, they rely on your home-state CCW (that you sent them a copy of), so it's just a simple admin task to cut the CCW and get it in the USMail.
