This comes from Brad Pitt in an interview with a British magazine:

Pitt tells British magazine Live... “America is a country founded on guns. It’s in our DNA. It’s very strange but I feel better having a gun. I really do. I don’t feel safe, I don’t feel the house is completely safe, if I don’t have one hidden somewhere. That’s my thinking, right or wrong."

Yes Brad grew up in Springfield Missouri. A fairly small rural city about 100 miles from me. Missouri is a gun friendly state thats honors all states carry concealment permits as far as I know.

I heard it all began with the limited training that they both received during the filming of Mr and Mrs Smith. And, if I recall correctly, Pitt bought her a shooting range as a gift for some occasion.

Hmmm. Very rich elite hollywood type. Just the type of people that think gun ownership is ok for them and their security forces, but not for the general public. Yup, I'm taking his comment with a salt block, too early to give him the benefit of the doubt. Although I do hope he and others like him who for some unknown reason have so much influence on some of the dimwits in this country, are coming around to appreciate the 2nd amendment.
