Bloomberg gets pinned as a liberal, but he's really not. He's endorsing Scott Brown in my state for example.

"Candidates who Bloomberg will rally behind include Bob Dold, a Republican from Illinois; California State Senator Gloria Negrete McLeod; and Gov. Angus King, an independent running for the U.S. Senate in Maine."

He's in the middle, but on the Nanny State side of things and it's gross. He's a rich scumbag dominating others and I don't understand how he keeps getting re-elected!

Same reason Chicago keeps choosing the same politicians. Power corrupts.

Seems that way...here's another reason that the Citizens United ruling is bad for We, the people. The rich get to dominate politics with their "votes" (money) and unlimited amounts of it, from George Soros, to the Koch Brothers to Nanny Bloomberg.

    Ugh.

I'm no fan of Bloomberg, but its his money do with as he sees fit. Its called freedom of speech.
I'd rather be lucky than good any day

The middle class needs to have its own party and not have any rich involved in it......let the majority rule and not vote either republican or democrate but for their own party.

It's only freedom of speech because of a terrible court ruling that needs to be overturned.

I do not see a ruling for freedom of speech as a bad one. The NRA is a super pac of sorts, and I like what they do.

    Non political folks..............non-political.................

"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."

The problem is when you realize it's not for your benefit. The rich get to vote, same as us. Then they get to vote a billion times more, it unbalances democracy utterly. I don't want to comment on the NRA, especially with LaPierre.

    All right I'm done.
