While I've never been entirely sold on incorporation doctrine we've already gone down that road for the rest of the BOR and I see no reason not to enforce the 2a against the states with at least as much vigor.

1. It's second hand from a known anti-gun person, no proof besides what she says.
2. It's not what he really said.

The NRA made their statement based off what Brady allegedly told Horowitz.
If anyone is a blatant liar it's either Brady, or Horowitz.
Either way, it got published and the NRA got a hold of it. But that doesn't make them the liar in this instance.

It's bullcrap then, that better? Nonsense, horsecrap, whatever you want to call it.
It was deliberately blown out of proportion for the purpose of fearmongering. I call that a lie because what they claim was said, wasn't. They added meaning that didn't exist.
