    I don't get all the complaints about spam, phone calls and mail. I don't get a lot of that at all and I've been a Member for 4 years. While I do get some phone calls, it isn't anymore than my satellite TV provider calls me. They want money too....except they offer 6 month programming deals to suck you in. In fact, I just got off the phone with them about some Showtime deal.

    Are you aware that the NRA tried to prevent the Heller case from ever reaching the Supreme Court? They were trying to get congress to pass a law overturning D.C.s gun ban. If they had been successful we never would have had either D.C. v Heller or McDonald v Chicago.

    So some of our greatest victories have come in spite of the NRA.

    I am not a member.
    I was a member for years, but stopped.
    I stopped because I got tired of the NRA hindering our efforts in Georgia for comprehensive changes to our carry laws. The NRA is also responsible for South Carolina not having reciprocity with Georgia.

    I give my money to the Second Amendment Foundation which helps fund Alan Gura and his lawsuits he has filed.

    Yes I'm a member. Despite the persistent call for cash, the voice in Washington outweighs a little annoyance. I quit wining about it. I see it as more good than bad. So what about the fear mongering. The Brady bunch started he practice. What's wrong with the NRA playing by the same rules as the antis.
