Things gun forums have taught me:
-Some people shoot guns other "run" them.
-I don't dislike Glocks but often dislike Glock owners.
-Open carry is to a handgun as bluetooth is to a cell phone!
-Simple math can deliver posts per day... some gun forum members need to get out more!!!

Mags...Mags are items that need to be replaced any way.

Magazines, the high cap ones right now along with assault style rifles.
The police are not there to protect you from crime, they are there to arrest the guy after the crime has been committed, assuming they find him. It is your responsibility to protect yourself and your family.

Ban on hi-cap mags and buying frenzy on ammo will take place simultaneously. It would be a good idea to buy both now if you can.

Guns are protected by the 2nd?
I thought it was arms, which includes mags, and ammo.

Ammo and components will be the first to be "infringed", followed by a nationwide registration program, then followed by a gradual confiscation. I see a big run on 6 inch PVC pipe and end caps coming very soon.

Guns do not have the 2nd protecting them ,they have 1 justice protecting them and that will get fix.
Simple a Brady type ban at first then a move to remove any grandfather of any weapon mass registration of every firearm. A penalty tax on every weapon per year.
tax on every round purchased and held in your home.
All things they have been working on for years.

None of these things mentioned will get attacked first.

As in politics, they key is to discredit your rival.

Those who attempt to put a choke hold on Americans from buying guns, ammo and mags will begin; if it already has not, to launch a campaign which puts gun owners in the poorest possible light.

No different than the man on the street interviews by news agencies who wish to advance their agenda where they find and interview the person with a 4th grade education. They ask them questions that make that person look like a blithering idiot. Of course, everyone with a view on this topic must be just like this person; right?

All of us must be mindful of where the attacks will come from concerning gun ownership. Although the anti-gun people are wrong in their view; they are certainly not stupid.

Walking in a cave while the tour guide says "watch out over your heads for any falling rock" and then stepping on a poisonous snake will have the same result.

Going directly after mags or ammo is obvious. We watch for it. The NRA watches for it. The anti-gun people are far more sneaky than that. They are tactical in their approach and methodical. I gotta' give 'em credit, they know what they're doing in this war.

The frontal approach has not worked well for them. Watch for the "end around" coming soon.
