The problem is that when enough gun owners start saying things like this, Feinstein will listen, and all of a sudden detachable magazines will be outlawed as well.

Applying logic to this situation just seems to make things worse. Logic and statistics are apparently trumped by anecdotal evidence.

    shhh!

Anybody seen anything written which lists what are the exempted weapons, or what are the 120 named weapons?

Here is hoping they forget about things like the mini 14 this time around. Unfortunately, enough gun owners/journalists has tried to use logic ("Mini 14 is a semi automatic rifle that fires as fast as an AR-15, yet wasn't on the AWB...") about this weapon, that it probably will make the list.

Here is hoping the government is just as inept in shoving this legislation through as they have been with every other budget related issue over the past 3 years.

If old man Ruger was still around you know the Mini 14 wouldn't make the banned list... he was "one of them" when it came to thinking the population didn't need certain types of guns. Now that he's gone they may be fair game though.

Unfortunately that appears to be a fake quote. I found the full context here and he doesn't say anything about arming up against your own gov't:

The gun community needs to get outraged as though they were about to loose all their freedoms. Because we ARE.

How come Al sharpton can gather a million people to fight over some b.s and we sit here and even let the idea of this behavior come to pass? We have to have the mentality of NEVER. Shall not be infringed. This is a bad time to disarm and play games with people's guns.. We have crime going up, home invasions up, a weak president and muslims around the world who want nothing more than to kill us... Say no to any gun control.

Good luck getting me to register my stuff! I am completely against registering my firearms. It's not their business what I have. Again this has to be voted on as far as I know and the Reps have stated it's a fat chance it will pass.

Why aren't we taking this administration by storm? Are people afraid to fight for their freedoms maybe literally?

So if you have an AR,AK or several of each like I do, sure...you can register and keep it as long as you pay a 200 Tax on each one.

That is the NFA. Every article under NFA jurisdiction requires a tax, so don't think it wont be there.
She just conveniently forgot to mention that.
That may also include handguns too!

Anyone have any Glocks, XD's, SIG's, M&P's, Rugers, Walthers or any other high-capacity semi-automatic pistols? How about several of them?
