    guns for store food cards

LA having gun buy back $200 for automatics $100 for pistols, rifles and shotguns over 1600 guns turned in. Gee the math does not work, a few years back when my friend worked in that area they had over 1400 gangs in that area.

Are you trying to say that its only law abiding citizens and not gang bangers turning their weapons? WOW! That doesn't make any sense at all.

Is that even legal? And how true is this? If it is, what a joke! Getting ppl to trade their protection of a firearm in for food. If that's not the govt taking advantage of a bad economy, I don't know what is. Not to mention the sheeple that are buying I to this...

I'll take all the automatic weapons you can find @ $200.00 apiece.
Heck, I'd even pay the transfer fee.

To me it sounds like a massive failure. How many people live in LA? How many guns are probably there? They got 1600. Maybe junk and old stuff people wanted to dump for a couple hundred bucks. Seems like a waste of time but good PR for the anti's.

Bet they did not get a lot of Kimbers and Rock Rivers.
It's not a problem til they make it one!

I'll bet burglaries increase in the immediate area when they announce these buybacks.

The program is nothing more than a "feel-good" for the local politicians- they're able to make it look like they are tough on crime while villifying law-abiding gun owners at the same time.

I don't know everyone. Maybe it's not all that silly.

Some of the those (Twinkies) are deadly when consumed in (MASS) quantities. Heart disease etc...
Oh wait! I forgot. No more Twinkies. They went out of business. Bringing back Twinkies might be impossible now after
the large soft soft drink ban in NYC.

Gee! $100 for an old Webley with a split barrel doesn't sound TOO bad to me.

Amen to that. I got a bunch of parts/junk/wall hangers I would be GLAD to sell at those prices.
