We hear this same message from Russia, Australia, the UK and many other places that once were relatively free. We see the massive death tolls that occur after disarmament campaings in many countries throughout the world and yet, our leaders, who we elected and can unelect in due time, seem to be determined to repeat these same strategies.
Excellent article. Thanks for posting, Mike. Great read.
That was a good article. It ought to be read by everyone on this site.
Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives, leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question. They hate guns in those whom they have slated for a barrel to the back of the ear.
Superb perspective on an issue we all too often take for granted. This freedom is actively being threatened. Thanks for the post.
Very interesting, especially considering the source.
I am consumed with a feeling of frustration. It's like I went to sleep and woke up in a world where common sense doesn't exist.
Yes we have a problem where mentally unstable people kill school children. But as usual the government only has two solutions to a problem; put a bandaid on it or nuke it. No middle ground...no common sense.
I think it's sad and pathetic that the Russians are able to sit there and lecture us about how we need to maintain our freedoms, and that we don't value them enough. I think EVERYONE should read this article, and bother to think. I can't thank you enough for sharing this, and I hope you share it with more than just us. :hand10:
That was an excellent commentary from an unexpected source. Gun control is all about power for the government ruling class, and the Russians have seen this first hand. The "crime" argument for gun control is baloney.
Very good post.
Unfortunately the anti's and their minions of followers will just say "He's just a dissident who's unhappy with the way things are being ran in his country. The Russian people are safer and happier now than they have ever been."
