Interesting perspective. Sounds like he learned an important history lesson, albeit too late.
I did chuckle over the "bare arms" statement early in the piece.
But, he makes an interesting point about the corruption of local and distant governments/police in an unarmed society.
I couldn't help but remember a shooting in NYC of a man getting his wallet. Or another case of a NYC resident who was arrested, sodomized with a broomstick, etc. All occurring in a city with virtually no personal weapons...
Makes one pause.
