While I have bought quite a bit of ammo from Dick's in the past when they had it on sale, I no longer intend to spend my money there.

I used to go in their golf section and look at clubs, test them out in their hitting room, and get all of the technical readout info and then go to a local golf shop to actually buy golf clubs. I've now found a local shop that also has the same set-up, so now I have no reason to go in there at all.

I quit going there when everything they advertised in ads, they never had, couldn't get , and wouldn't issue a rain check. Their ammo was way over-priced. However I bought many "sports" things there for teams, etc. ... and coaching, as well as sporting items for the kids.... wont' now.

Interesting how that works....... people who like guns, also like to camp, fish, sports, etc..... hummmmm...

Unlike Cheaper than Dirt, Dick's at least lives up to its name.

I also have never liked Dick's.

I got a Dick's gift card for Christmas so just stopped in a couple days ago. Swung by the gun section and all they had left were shotguns and wood stock rifles. No pistols or scary black guns. The guy behind the counter said they even had to take down all the pellet/bb guns that resembled an assault rifle. Ridiculous.
