If you want to win this fight, talk sensible to your elected representatives, repeatedly.
Talk sensibly with every fence sitter you know. Talk sensibly with every flaming anti you know.
Invest in groups like NRA, GOA, SAF, and any other local and state groups.
Talk to your neighbors, your friends, your enemies. Talk calmly, and sensibly.
You fail to do this, you are a "clinger," a redneck baby killer, a wannabe, mall ninja, etc. AND, YOU WILL NOT BE HEARD.
Those are the facts, plain and simple. Learn them, or lose your right to keep and bear anything more powerful than a pea shooter.

Oh, I agree with nearly everything you say here.
If enough people who vote write to their elected officials ... The key word is enough... It would make a difference.
Right now, what we need to do is launch a professionally handled campaign using the first amendment to defend the second.
Carefully, constructively, and QUICKLY.
There are more of us than them. If you want to be able to buy more guns tomorrow, take your gun money and pool it with our organizations to buy time in the media... Today.
If those organizations will do it.
