    Where are the Public Rallies?

    Perhaps I'm not googling properly.

    "Pro 2nd amendment rallies/rally"
    "pro gun rallies/rally"
    "DC pro gun rallies/rally"
    "Washington Pro-Gun Rally" etc...etc...etc

    I've found next to nothing.

Plenty of save the whale, anti abortion, pro life..save the animals...occupy wall street blah..blah..blah.

Is this because there just aren't too many rallies for this cause?
..or the media refuses to cover them?
...or pro 2A and Pro gun people are not organizing any?

    ..and if not...Why not?

I think the less gun related headlines, the better at the moment.

Missouri has a Gun Rights Rally Day in Jefferson City every year. I think it takes place mid-April.

    It's cold out.

    Literally, and figuratively.

If you saw La Pierre's press conference, you saw parading antis bearing banners disrupting the show.

We are all baby killers like Wayne...
    In their eyes.

We need "third party" organizations with innocuous names to blitz the airwaves, just like a political campaign.

We need "mainstream, average looking" surviving victims of assaults, invasions, robberies, etc. that survived due to the use of a firearm. Especially long arms that might make Frankenstein's evil list.

We need Casper Milquetoast to stand for the second, because a CCW holder saved his fanny from deadly thugs.

We need this to happen NOW!

Other than supporting the NRA, I wish I could agree with you.

The anti 2A people are screaming at the top of their lungs.
The major political players who are anti 2A are receiving the lions share of media coverage.
I may be mistaken, but I don't think one major network covered Lapierre's NRA response.
Even the conservative networks are burning the images of the families who were struck by this tragedy hard into our brains.

It seems to me if someone is yelling fire; someone needs to be even louder and turn the lights on in reassurance that there is no fire before the stampede kills someone.

Public opinion works. Period. Ask any politician.
Broadcasted public opinion works as well.
Peaceful demonstrations work (IF) they garner enough media attention.

The anti 2A people do not fight fair...someone needs to call them on it and loudly.

IMO; the NRA, GOA and ILA may be waiting too long to put forth a defense.
While we circle the wagons, I fear they may have us surrounded.

Yes! But it will cost $$$$$. Lots and lots of $$$. If NRA called with that in mind, I'd donate... But they are not thinking. They need a real political activist familiar with media use and social media savvy to guide them, and soon.
