Not only is the Evergreen State high on the number of per capita concealed pistol licenses, it’s also in the top ten for background checks in 2012, indicating that gun sales are reportedly among the highest in the nation.

FBI reported that 2.8 million background checks where done in the U.S just for December.

thats because only half of washington is blue, and most of that is in 5 counties, the rest is very rural.

...and obviously even in the blue areas (like here in Seattle), there are bunches of us that believe in the right of carrying the best self-defense "tools" possible.
