There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.
Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.
I, for one, think we need to make it easier on the burglars. They have a rough time of it any more. Plus if they are breaking into houses without guns the annual gun-related deaths will drop and the gun control debate will die down. In fact, it's so Machiavellian that I'm starting to wonder if that newspaper is really a staunch defender of the Second Amendment.
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.
Kinda like the guy that puts the sign up in his yard saying "my neighbor is a liberal and doesn't like guns, go rob him".
