Elected officials and other government employees who use a tragedy such as Newtown or Aorora to push a political agenda disgust me! It should now be clear to anyone paying attention that these folks are beyond reasoning with and must be defeated, even if it means adopting their tactics to use against them.

On Dec. 17th, Feinstein said, "I have been working with my staff for over a year on this legislation" and "It will be carefully focused." Indicating the depth of her research on the issue, she said on Dec. 21st that she had personally looked at pictures of guns in 1993, and again in 2012.
So if it looks scary to her it must be banned.

    Removable, yes. Fixed no.

Are they wording this to mean "can accept" a higher capacity magazine? For example my sig can accept a 15 round mag but my Walther can only accept a 7 round mag. Are they saying my sig is on the list or only that I would be required to turn in my 15 round mag but not the gun?

    I don't like that wording.

All this is going to accomplish is selling me on the 357 sig conversion kit for my carry and I will carry an extra mag.
One example I can think of for a fixed magazine would be the Mauser Broomhandle, it has an integral ten round magazine loaded by stripper clips.

On paper, yes. In reality is started the day after election. 4 years + 4 long days (about a month long each).

Imagine the horror come Nov. 2016 if we survive that long.

-Any "semiautomatic, centerfire, or rimfire rifle that has a fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds," except for tubular-magazine .22s. [Huh? Isn't a tubular mag a fixed mag, and isn't a .22 a rimfire?)
So this rifle I have would be banned:(it holds 13 rounds)

I painted my chainsaw black and put a muffler and chain guard on it. Semi-auto Assault Saw. Evil. Wood sees it and separates itself.
