Illinois gun grab today Sunday 1/6/13

Picked this up from another forum.

If you live in Illinios, there is another gun grab today at 2:00 pm in the State House.

The anti-gunners are moving from a rifle method to more of a shotgun method by submitting multiple bills at the same time during our lame duck session.

If you live in Il and want to keep you rights, you must email your reps today before 2:00 pm. Go to

Also in Il you can fill out what is called a Witness slip. Its to show up in person or online conduct a poll of the bill. When it refers to your company or position you just put "self".

I'm glad I live in the South also. They can have IL. Why don't they ALL go live there. Put all the anti's in one spot and they can make all the laws for their spot that they want.

It failed ....didn't have the votes they thought when it came down to it .....they know if they vote yes what will happen when they run again for office ......

I assure you that a big part of the reason it failed and many of these reps knew they would lose their seat if they voted for it was because of the work the NRA does EVERY DAY. They are a huge political lobby, and they consistently reinforce our collective voice and voting power. The NRA may not be perfect, but they're the best chance we've got!!!

I've posted something similar in other threads...

If your elected officials are not representing you and your State the way you would like them to represent you in regards to the 2nd amendment, now is the time to move to an area of the country which has a history of supporting the 2nd amendment and currently has elected officials in place who will support and defend the 2nd amendment.

When you move, bring guns and ammo.

When you get here, buy more guns and ammo.
