    My non-response from Wal-Mart Corporate

I just basically told them that I, along with my family and many others I know would boycott Wal-Mart if any policies are put in place that would erode my 2nd Amendment Rights. Their response:

Thank you for your inquiry. There are a lot of views on this topic and the country is about to engage in a national conversation about the sale and regulation of certain firearms.

In areas of the country where we sell firearms, we have a long standing commitment to do so safely and responsibly. Over the years we’ve tried very hard to find the right balance between serving hunters and sportsmen and ensuring that we sell firearms responsibly.

We will be paying attention to this important conversation like everyone else in America. We hope Congress and the Administration will reach a consensus on the right path forward in this area.

    Sincerely,

Their policy has long been to just follow local, state and national laws, and I'd be willing to bet they'll continue to do so, whatever that may turn out to be. Guns are an expensive hobby and wally world stands to make a pretty penny off us.

They have also been long time Obama supporters and campaign donors...

Not that I'm saying you're wrong... I've just never heard that before.

I see nothing wrong with the response given. Seeing as they currently follow the laws in the communities they serve, they are not taking sides one way or theother but waiting to see what transpires and will adjust their policies if needed to adapt.

Have not confirmed it for myself but was told by a reliable source that certain Wal-marts in this area will not sell the same person a rifle and ammo on the same day....If true, what could be stupider ????? I does not know.

That's a new one... but I have heard that they will walk you out with your new firearm purchase.

That's is true....at least here it is..once approved for purchase, you don't touch the weapon until escorted out of the building by a manager.
