President of the National Assocation of Police Officers and Boston Police Officer Thomas Nee is a member of Vice President Joe Biden's gun control task force...............
Boston Police plan to contact authorities investigating the alleged Columbine-style attack plot at Marshfield High School to determine if a gun that one suspect allegedly showed to another student was a .40-caliber handgun issued by Boston Police.
A female student told Marshfield Police that Joseph T. Nee, one of the two suspects in the case, pulled what she thought was a black, .40-caliber handgun from his waistband as she was getting off a school bus this past spring and told her "how the school was going to be shot up," John P. McLaughlin, an assistant Plymouth district attorney, said at Nee's arraignment Monday.
.....Thomas Nee is serving as an expert on gun violence for Biden. Attorney General Eric Holder, Commissioner of the Philadelphia Police Department Charles Ramsey and others have also been tapped to provide their expertise to the task force.
CRAP - I'm really sorry you'all. I thought I added the source article on the initial post.... here it is (Amature Hour for me = you can now dog pile me :-): http://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepa...sacre-n1483006

Sounds like peas in a pod with that group. Not one dissenting voice among them.

I think we should congratulate Mr Obama, and Mr Biden, on the excellent research done when selecting their committee experts!

They say they want a task force to address broad issues contributing to the problem and then fill it with people who are very narrowly defined to only ONE aspect: anti-gun legislation. That's like putting together a task force of Smurfs to decide which of all the colors is Superior. They say they will use a broad brush, but they're only dipping it into ONE color.

I guess James Eagan Holmes wasn't able to make the time commitment needed to serve on the 'task force'.

All of their first choices for the "task force" have already committed suicide so they had no choice but to go with whoever was next in line.

IMHO, the wake-up call that the father received when realizing he himself had a plotter in his house might well provide some much-needed, practical perspective on the issues related to mental instability and the necessity of enlisting the help of everyone to keep their eyes/ears peeled to watch out for each other in that respect.
If used effectively within that task group, his experience might well be beneficial to the cause. Though, not knowing much about the guy's specific background and knowledge, it's hard to say whether it's merely "peas in a pod" or wishful thinking. I'm not holding my breath.

Now wait one minute. I just searched ABC News and CBS News, and I didn't see anything about this...
If this were true, don't you think that the unbiased news media would be jumping all over it? I know they would be pointing out how clearly it illustrates the need to teach our children values instead of focusing on legislative 'solutions' that have proven to increase violent crime by disarming responsible citizens!

- or he's gonna be like all the other parents claiming he was a good boy thus relieving himself of any potential responsibility for not noticing any warning signs and not being involved enough with his son's life.

Was not his [parent] fault, it's the video games and violent movies that did it.
