Pack Your Bags Part 3 - YouTube
OK....I'm not going to retract what I said up there but, I actually meant to say...WINE IN THE SAND! Not.....LINE In The Sand. OOPS! My Bad!
I really meant to say that I'm not going to ever drink NOT ONE MORE INCH of wine on the beach...because it is not safe to drink alcohol before going swimming in the ocean.
NOT ONE MORE INCH OF WINE IN THE SAND!!!....NOT ONE MORE INCH!
Any questions.................contact my attorney. :hand5:
I especially liked the part in part II where he says, "I was mad when I said it, I probably allowed my mouth to over-ride my logic..." It's his logic that drives his mouth, who does he think he's kidding?
Wait a minute! What logic would he be talking about!!! I don't see anything close to logic.
I think we need to at least give the guy credit for not wearing any more of those stupid looking Affliction t-shirts.
I think I actually want to take this discussion a bit further.
I honestly am happy that he decided to do a public retraction with or without an attorney. I consider it to be a "something" better than nothing. Factoring in the general atmosphere of fear in this country with a lot of folks in the U.S. directly related to the deranged murderer and the school massacre - it is a given that Yeager did not do any of us Sport Shooters, Competition Shooters, Self-Defense Legal License Holders, Hunters, Firearm Collectors, Gun Manufacturers Etc. etc. any favors.
In fact he did us all a stupid and great disservice.
Even if he is only putting a band-aid on his mouth - I am glad that he is doing that.
I think that no matter what we think of Yeager we all know that (for sure he was extremely whizzed off) but, that he never intended to go out and start shooting people.
He does not have that sort of Homicidal Maniac problem but, the problems that he does have are severe Internet Bravado issues coupled with a mouth and a swollen ego that gets ahead of his brain.
In my opinion he should get some Very Harsh intelligent criticism & public backlash as well as some ridicule and some sarcasm and some "biting humor" from the law abiding, rational, cool, calm, and collected firearm community that he hurt!
Such as what he is getting here. He deserves every bit of that.
Who exactly he hurt the most though is himself.
He has now permanently scarred himself with the public perception that he cannot control his temper or manage his anger and that he may not be capable of thinking ahead or thinking rationally before he acts.
And apologizing for that (after the fact) really does not change that perception about him though it does benefit all of us a bit...but, not much.
Hopefully clear thinking non-gun people will not ever associate his initial video with any of us.
Can you imagine NOW if (by some miracle) he somehow manages to get his LTC legally reinstated and he is involved in a future justified self-defense shooting?
Especially in his home State where the State Attorney General needs to make a decision as to if his case will go to trial...or not?
