I think the colonists probably thought that their muskets were cutting edge technology about 250 yrs ago.

Today AR 15's are our muskets. YMMV.
I disagree. Today's M16 or select fire M4 are today's musket - we are simply not allowed to own them.

I guess I would have to wait for the Heizer SingleTap to come out.

Live Free Or Die -- NH state motto, to this day.

Don't Tread On Me -- Patriots' motto, at time of the Revolution.

Hire Me Then Die -- Treasonous Traitors' quiet, smoky back-room motto, when asking for your vote, said tongue-in-cheek when explaining to their conspirators how they're gulling the People while laughing all the way to the bank.

It may never pass, but if they start from this they can "compromise" a bunch and still end up with some really strict gun laws and said," Look at how much we gave up to come up with these reasonable and common sense laws."

It means we've got to stand up to everything they "throw on the wall to see if it sticks", so that some of it doesn't stick.

This is true evidence of mental illness left unchecked in CT's legislators.

Bingo! The same thing is happening in IL, NY, and I'm sure several other states too. Despite a strong hunting culture (outside of Crookago) they are trying to pass through a ban that would include pump shotguns. IMHO...they aren't stupid. They know these ridiculous proposals won't pass, let alone stand up on court. It's all about painting a grim picture so it looks like they're "compromising" when lesser restrictions are enacted. They may act appalled on the outside when lesser restrictions pass, but it's all part of a plan.

I'd start sharpening my bayonets and loading my magazines if this crap passes.

The first shot heard round the world was in Massachusetts.

Whats bad is that some people are even entertaining the thought of such ridiculousness.

The second shot heard round the world might be in Connecticut.
