Pro Gun Protest Signs - get 'em here
This is a discussion on Pro Gun Protest Signs - get 'em here within the The Second Amendment & Gun Legislation Discussion forums, part of the Related Topics category; I designed a bunch of pro gun signs the other day for upcoming assemblies. They are free. Don't use the images here - they won't ...

Re: "It's not about guns. It's about control."
That's a common saying amongst 2nd amendment supporters but it could be taken the wrong way by someone who is on the other side or who is on the fence...they might interpret the message as "those nutty gun owners want to control me with their guns".

That is a good point. I tried to shorten it from "Gun control is not about guns. It's about Control" - perhaps something go lost in the translation. I'll see if I can make one that clarifies - would that statement be better?

Threatening images are unlikely to sway the many.

Guns pointing at the viewer is threatening.
There are reasons for this kind of thing to be done by professionals.
Everything from size to font, to color... Everything matters.
But, I am as guilty as you of trying to do it myself with videos...

Yup.
Concentrate on "protection"...
You use guns to protect the President...
(insert photo of school children)
Why won't you use guns to protect us?
If the bad guys have lots of bullets...
(insert photo of little girl)
Why can't my Daddy have lots of bullets to protect me?
If you see a bad guy trying to shoot me...
(insert photo of little boy)
How will calling 911 save my life?

What is funny is that I am a professional designer. I just did those in a few minutes which is why they aren't masterpieces... LOL - I'm trying to tread water in the Obama Economy so I only have a few minutes to devote. I spend a lot of time spreading the word.

People who want to ban guns already have their minds made up. I have no problem reminding them of the potential consequences of their actions. I regard a picture of a gun pointing at them as a public service announcement.

But they can easily regard it as a message of the threatening uses of weapons instead of the intended message of avoidance of wrongly-placed political control.

These are great.\! My two older sons are coming with us to the State Capitol next Saturday. They're trying to come up with their own signs. I'll show them these; I love it!

My favorite is, "Your rights stop where mine begin". And a professional designer knows that more than seven words is a less effective message. These are striking images that make people think. If they don't think, it doesn't matter. Thanks for sharing your talent and especially your love of freedom.

when the intervention of society... may be too late to prevent an injury.

Thank you. It's harder than it looks.
Here's two new ones:

It's tough using photos - one reason is somebody owns the photo - the other is that it is hard to reproduce.
