Great link, should be NO reason why people don't contact the people in Washington...

I did this earlier. There is NO EXCUSE for anyone not to do this. Their inboxes should be flooded.

While I agree we ALL need to be contacting all of our elected officials, a personalized letter from you will be considered more meaningful on their scale than a form letter generated by Ruger. So do a personal letter too.

True, but in reality it probably comes down to a staffer telling your repr that he's receives "X" yays and "Y" nays.

Thanks for the info. I was able to use this to email a couple of legislators and my state AG for which I had no email. We can make a difference!

The NRA also has a contact page on the ILA page of their site. NRA-ILA | Write Your Reps Enter your Zip and it gives you a listing of all the State and Federal legislators. Contact each via phone call, email and letter. The more contacts of a positive nature they receive the better. Keep it short, to the point and civil. Recruit your shooting buddies to contact them as well. We are in the fight of our lives this time around - don't sit on your butts and do nothing !!!

Good advice. I've emailed all my legislators and state AG the "form" letter, as well as sent personalized letters via fax or post.

I can't seem to be able to erase the proscribed message and input my own.

    Anyone know how?
