Wow havent banned them yet so they ask retailers to stop selling, boy are they desperate.

More people are joining the NRA than ever also, maybe they should be nice and stop accepting membership requests...........

Hit my limit for speculation, the sky is falling, and gun owners fighting amongst themselves.

I guess one thing Ol' Chuckie can do is go to multiple gun stores, see that they aren't selling any "modern assault-style weapons" (mainly because they're sold out), and feel really good about the power he wields because sellers are obviously heeding his call for restraint.![]()
Restraint, eh? A shop owner's supposed to restrain himself or herself, sales-wise ... what, because others believe that "over" selling of the product is a bad thing? I can half see the logic of "restraining" sales in situations where it's apparently a bad guy (ie, via the NICS check, or someone completely off his rocker in the store). But otherwise, I can't see how someone's concern over product X, Y or Z holds any water.
My suggestion to such busy-bodies: Want to change things? Freedom's a wonderful thing. You've got the freedom to push your reps for a new Constitutional amendment. And I've got the freedom to push just as hard on the basis of realizing that our ultimate freedom depends on us remaining free, and a HUGE part of that is the 2A. Short of that ... butt out of my shop's business.

Chuck is a tool, and a worthless one to boot... I can't see his request having any kind of meaningful impact. In fact, I'd be surprised if even one retailer obliged him. Guy's such a dork....

Schumer: Please restrain you sales while we pass legislation that will put you out of business.
Retailer: Yea, right.
Soooooo......this is why Wal-mart is caving.......to Shumer's request......Hmmmmm.
I was going to sell an old 30-round mag that I don't need any more on GunBroker. But since Mr. Schumer asked me not to.....

So while they figure out what to do about taxes can I refrain from paying them until a solution is found?
