Even funnier than the article is the poll next to it. It's like 97% against new gun laws. Maybe there's only 10 votes or something.

Did you see the poll beside that article with 92 percent voting no additional gun regulation? I havent seen a public poll anyplace that even came close to favoring more gun restrictions.
I think they would do anything to slow gun sales because the large number of people buying skyrockets all over the news and shows that regardless of what they say, a huge number of Americans oppose their stupid ideas. And very well wont comply with what they get through if anything.

I would be willing to vote for a total ban on the people in the photo! Did anyone else notice at least one armed guard just behind the mouthpiece and the out of tune female at his side? That must be the "fine" stein. Seems a waste of good words! But she is from Calif! Says it all in a nutshell. Glad I left 40 years ago and will never go back. Peace everyone! Stay armed and ready just in case!
    97 Percent and counting!

I don't need a new gun. I have three that serve any CC need. I'm gonna buy a Kimber Ultra Carry Plus as soon as my local shop gets another. It'll be my first 1911 and first .45. I've already ordered a Milt Sparks for it.

    Get a clue Schumer!

A question to all about confiscation... You cannot confiscate that of which you are not aware. I have three going on four handguns. My question is....Who knows this. I live in Florida and of course have a cc permit. Does the State know of my guns, the Fed....? They were all purchased from a shop, not private. I know the GS keeps records, but who else knows?

If purchased with a NICS check involved, and/or listed on a CHL application (as required in some states) or other document, then it's surely "on file" there, at least within a short period of time of the NICS check. And who's to say the reports aren't copied and filed in a drawer somewhere? Statutes??

And if you accept what FFL's suggest is true, that when evaluating the year's gun transactions the BATFE comes armed with an armload of NICS reports for specific weapons/buyers ...

Then it's hard to imagine anything but Face-to-Face sales are off the radar, in spite of any legislation that technically makes it unlawful to keep such records indefinitely.
