I'm hearing the same thing from LEOs here in Kentucky. They're risking their political careers, their livelihood & (I would suspect) their pensions to make their unwillingness to participate in this nonsense crystal-clear. What have WE...risked today?

Wonder if he'll hold the line when the Feds lean on him?

Excellent news. Glad to hear of people taking their oath seriously and serving the people and the constitution rather than cowing to federal pressure.

Hearing that and especially the mention of KY, raised my spirits.

Linn County is actually the county I went to to get my out of state license. Did some research, found a resonable sheriff with reasonable requirements. Sounds like he is still being very reasonable. I'm glad to say that I have this man's signature in my wallet right now.

Good sheriff and sheriffs around the country. It's encouraging when a law man takes a stand for what's right. Especially when it costs to go against the grain. Something tells me they will reap their reward in time.

CORRECT! Jackson County, KY-Sheriff Denny Peyman. He says he will not enforce laws against the 2nd Amendment, and also says he has a 'team' of lawyers ready to step up to help if needed. He says it is a moral obligation.
