Oh My Soul... the Dreaded, Evil, Tactical Remington 1100 shotgun is on the list!

If grandpa were around, maybe he'd wear a sly grin that his .351 Winchester autoloader didn't make the list, 'specially with that 10-shot magazine!

And yet, the functionally equivalent Mossberg 930 isn't, as well as a few others.

I'll never understand the depth of the lack of logic involved in creating this hit-and-miss list. They needed a "choke," to be sure. A few mag extensions short of a full tube, no doubt.

They worked hard to get that list. All the banned firearms can be found in a mulitutde of video games. Besides they missed one

This surprised me, also, especially since I just bought one. I'm a bit disappointed because I was hoping for yet another reason to never go to New York, but alas....

They also left out my 12-gauge. It starts with an "M," just like its parent company, and it's not Mattel.

It makes sense, though. It's because it doesn't look "scary" enough. And besides, Cuomo stands up for hunters' rights? right? He himself hunts, right? And that's what the 2nd Amendment is all about, right?

Good news, no 10/22, meaning you can put a bayonet lug on, a flash suppressor, a pistol grip, maybe even an AR-15 style kit, and when you get in trouble, have your lawyer point out that it does not exist on the list!

Sturm-Ruger is listed in the AR15 prohibition section of the restrictions. So, that would mean the SR-556 is prohibited there, but not the Mini-14 or -30 (as neither is an AR15 variant).

Mine's not on here either, but I have no plan to go to New York state for any purpose.

Notice that they stuck the following statement in there just before the weapons list; "This list is intended only as a guide and is not meant to be an exclusive, exhaustive list as there may be additional weapons that will also meet the amended definition under the new law."

Shows how stupid they are - my Draco AK47 "Pistol" isn't listed. So I guess I can build a 7 round magazine and take it to NY and they can KMA. :)

I'm sure the dreaded H&R 922 "Assault Revolver" is included. 9 shots of .22lr is just too dangerous to have in NY.

Anyone else anticipate a flood of listing in the member buy, sell, trade thread by NY members?
