Ironic.....'Park Service pamphlet entitled "First Amendment Activities." '

National Park Service picks-and-chooses rights to support

It is sad when the government doesn't see its own inconsistencies on
our freedoms and rights.

My wife, two kids, and I went to Harper's Ferry last Saturday to take
some photos.

Before we boarded the Park Service bus to go from the Visitor Center
parking lot to the historic downtown, we were told of a KKK rally
planned for that same day.

We were given a Park Service pamphlet entitled "First Amendment Activities."

The second paragraph starts out "As Federal land, National Park areas
provide a forum in which citizens can exercise their Constitutional
rights, including the freedoms of speech and assembly."

I grinned when I read that. Thought you'd enjoy this selective
enforcement of people's rights.

I think they forgot to add the disclaimer.....Just not the SECOND AMENDMENT

It's very interesting that they can't or won't stop protest groups from voicing their opinions i.e..First Amendment, but they can sure stop the Second Amendment.

To me that is the ultimate in hypocrisy. Hopefully this will soon change in National Parks. Then maybe it can start to change in other 'Constitutional Rights Infringment Zones'.

Just another example of how liberals interpret our Constitution. Hate groups who foster violence are acceptable, but those of us who opt to defend our right to life are not.
