This is a discussion on Guns across America how did it you in your state? Any updates from Madison or any other capitals?

Disclaimer: My opinion shouldn't be taken seriously due to the fact that I've been shooting guns for over 30 years and have only recently been active on gun forums, where all the real world knowledge apparently is.
~500 in Kentucky. Respectful rally. Any anti's attending wouldn't have much, if anything, legitimate to complain about. Lots of OC, both sidearms and rifles. Lots of signs also, none that I noticed that I'd disagree with.
I wanted to stay home and stain the stock of my latest purchase instead, but I thought "activities like this (rally) will help ensure my ability to do activities like that (collect and shoot guns)".

Most of my friends went to Madison WI today for the rally. I will get some updates from them tonight. Did you go and how was the turnout?
Well I made it a point to be in Madison today. It went well we had a few of the Local Madison Union crowd showed up to call us a names but they were ignored for the most part. A few pictures for you. A lot of open carry a few open carry long guns but hey did secure the bolts and trigger lock them.
People are feed up with Obama that was clear and pretty sure most will not give up their weapons . pro2nd (9).JPGpro2nd (3).JPGpro2nd (4).JPGpro2nd (6).JPG

I was there, as well (Frankfort, KY). Figured ~350-400+ or so, possibly more earlier on. Though, people were coming and going, so it could easily have been more overall.
Looked like a third were armed, or even more. And there were scores of people with rifles slung over their shoulders (though, many with magazines conspicuously removed, and some with mags 'anchored' to the side). Nary a shot was fired, no accident/negligence or any untoward incident that I was aware of. Respectful, responsible, engaged, focused on the cause. Exactly as it should be.
A news station from Lexington was there.
Chatted up a few of the police officers there, and some other folks. Lots of good things being said. Strong promotion of getting actively involved (writing reps in local, state and federal offices; NRA, GOA, SAF support; speaking with those we know to help them understand).
Was hoping to see double that number at the rally, particularly since it warmed up so nicely.

Reason: grammar, spelling
Your best weapon is your brain. Don't leave home without it. Thoughts:Justifiable self defense. Explain: How does disarming victims reduce the number of victims? Reason over Force:The Gun is Civilization (Marko Kloos).
NRA, GOA, OFF, ACLDN.

They are estimating 2500+ from Columbus. The news team that was there said 800 but they left waaaayyyy before the masses showed up. Good success in Ohio I would say.

Haven't heard how it went in Denver, I couldn't go because the wife is in the hospital so I went to the one in Grand Junction. It's a rather smallish town and we had about 3-400 show up.
I was in Annapolis with my wife and children. Maybe 2-300 out there with some very solid speakers. Lots of empty holsters . My hopes for this state are fairly dim, but I don't want to go down without a fight here. I still want to see this state get half a clue...

Thanks for posting the link...you beat me to it. I'm terrible a estimating crowds of people but I would guess more than 500. It's hard to tell from the pics but it was a nice little crowd.
I pulled this photo from their Facebook page. It I from the stage and shows a little better the size of he crowd...well...about half the crowd...there were almost as many people on the other side to the right.
Edit - the estimate is somewhere around 750 people
