I think it's a good thing that the small town politicians get kept in line and are reminded of who and what they serve. If they are allowed to run amok unchecked, they get big fat heads and advance to bigger political seats. It's just like raising a child: you have to have consistency in parenting and make them go sit in the Naughty Chair when they misbehave. The Mayor did a good job.

Did anybody else notice the room cleared out after the CCer admitted being armed?

It looked like there were about 20-30 people there at first. But, after he admitted to being armed and the councilman left, there were only four people left in the room and an officer was sitting behind the CCer. (Talk about a room full of scared little sheeple.)

Motion to adjourn was proposed during the tail end of the dressing-down by the major of the two council members who attempted to operate outside of their sworn oath to uphold the laws and constitution of the state of WA. No brownie to those guessing which council member it was who proposed the adjournment, though the mayor's glances toward the offender made it fairly clear.

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. IOW, if you're going to dare break the laws, constitution and your sworn oath to the People, then don't even bother daring to harm the People's business in the People's chamber.

So sad that ~20 citizens dwindled to ~5 after realizing at least one of them was armed. Some people simply don't get it. I doubt many ever will.
