I've been sending e-mails to my friends in the NY, MA, and CT areas telling them to head to SC if they want to keep play with their guns. Many are fed up with law makers doing crazy things and ready to head south, just like I did in 2007. TX sounds good too!

I mentioned this to the wife, she doesn't thing I'm serious. NYS is about to kill my music teaching job I hold here. Since we're a single income family, why the heck not. She said there are no string jobs in Texas and I'd have to teach Marching Band (which I don't) and she said it's too hot for me. Both true but Texas has some of the best string programs and A/C in all their buildings. And will secede before giving up their guns. Texas I salute you. May I join you soon?

myrtle beach is where my wife and I want to retire, but if things here turn like the new NY law, we might be looking sooner. Only thing stopping us now is her career. I could get a LEO job there, but replacing her job would be the problem.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt

I really haven't heard any antis,in this part of S.C.,pushing for anything. It seems down here, more and more are getting their ccw permits. But,so far as any changes, who knows, politics are involved.
