Not a huge surprise, since NJ gun laws are fairly restrictive to begin with. But nonetheless, it seems wrong headed to me to offer $1000 even if they don't get a conviction. That sounds like they're offering $1000 just to have an opportunity to harass even legal owners.

I would have to move - simple as that! I figure they can pry my gun(s) from my dead cold hands. I obey the law but refuse to live like that when I've fought to keep our freedom and that of others. Many of us have sacrified much not so that it can be taken away I pray.
