    Oregon does the same thing. There's a specific law that disallows localities from limiting anything related to firearms, as that power is reserved to the state legislature.

    Awesome. I've always wondered about those signs. Maybe I should write to some of my local College Station officials and cite this. We have a similar city ordinance that prohibits firearms in parks.

    Yep. I live in the Houston area and found out about this. Someone beat me to posting it here. We do have a few sane political figures in Houston. I wish we had more!!

    No finger on the trigger, two on trigger gaurd, one between trigger gaurd and grip, one on grip.
    Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.
