    BLUF: "On the very same day that Defense Secretary Leon Panetta lifted the ban on women serving in active combat zones, a Democratic congresswoman from New York argued that assault weapons are actually difficult for women to handle and should therefore be banned."

    Anti arguments are so confusing. Women can't use ARs in the civilian world because they are too unwiedly, but they can use them in the military in combat MOSs. Wierd.

    Women have the right to now be in combat, but can't use military rifles to defend themselves/ fight the enemy? What do they expect them to do, use strong language?

    This is the common problem with all politicians AND media. They spout things "that they were told", and people take them as facts. Then they distance themselves from it because they didn't check it before the diarrhea of the mouth kicked in.

    This is why it is important, on anything that you believe in, that you politely, but firmly, correct them with references to facts. If you hear someone at work spouting this kind of crap, please, please, very politely correct them. Take them shooting. Explain to them that they are just misinformed.
