My comment to Liberty_1776 is thank you for taking the time to post this history lesson. I do not know how much is taught in schools these days, but it seems that it either this lesson isn't taught or these things have been forgotten by too many, especially are current politicians.

In these current times, it seems some are preparing to fight another war against imperialism, imperialism by a government that seems to want to run the country by fiat & edict, rather than through the constitutional processes and the "will of the people".

Our rights are under assault in many ways.
The article here about the Gestapo raids in DC - assault against the Forth Amendment
DIFI's Bill & all the uproar in the press to limit or do away with our Second Amendment Rights.
The White House's repeated efforts to stifle Fox News - assault on the First Amendment & attempts to control the news.
Obamacare & the Contraception mandates - assault on the First Amendment & attempts to destroy the churches.

There are more, but these examples are enough.

I do not know if we should be preparing to fight or not. Is the time right? ... I do not think so. But I still believe in the Boy Scout Motto - "Be Prepared".

It seems the power structure in Washington is pushing towards "one party rule" and if that happens it will become the party with the "Little Red Book". The mid-term elections will be very important as will the 2016 elections.

I do know that we need to be prepared to fight in the upcoming elections and we must start now in order to be prepared for that fight.
Ten Bears: It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men.

    From:
Muster Rolls of the Participating Companies of American Militia and Minute-Men in The Battle of April 19, 1775.

Average size Co. consisted of 50 men plus officers.....it is absolutely amazing what was waiting for the British along Battle Road as they retreated back to Boston
